What We Mean by Bribery
Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting, or soliciting of an advantage or incentive with the intention of influencing a decision or obtaining an improper business benefit.
This includes:
- Cash payments or kickbacks.
- Gifts or hospitality intended to influence decisions.
- Unauthorised commissions or referral payments.
- Any financial or non-financial benefit offered to gain an unfair advantage.
Our Expectations
All directors, consultants, associates, contractors, and anyone acting on behalf of arlo consultancy services must:
- Act with honesty and integrity at all times.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Refuse any form of bribery or corrupt activity.
- Report any concerns regarding suspected bribery or unethical conduct.
- Ensure business decisions are made fairly and objectively.
Gifts and Hospitality
Reasonable business hospitality may be accepted or provided where it is proportionate, transparent, and for legitimate business purposes. Gifts or hospitality must never be used to improperly influence a business decision.
Reporting Concerns
Any concerns relating to bribery, corruption, fraud, or unethical conduct should be reported to the Managing Director immediately. All reports will be treated seriously and investigated appropriately.
