Our one-day CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course gives new starters, labourers and operatives the essentials of working safely on a construction site. We run it at our training centre at The Stables, Maldon Road, Witham (CM8 3HY), and on site for teams across Essex, including Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, Basildon and Harlow.
Delegates learn to recognise common site hazards, follow site rules and emergency procedures, and understand their own responsibilities. Successful delegates receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, and the course can support a CSCS Labourer Card application alongside the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test. See the full HSA course details.

“Engaging, practical and immediately useful”
“From the outset, arlo took a different approach. They tailored the training to our industry, our risks, and the specific challenges our colleagues faced on a daily basis. The sessions were interactive, practical, and delivered by trainers who clearly understood the realities of the workplace.”
